Melanie Schaefer is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She will graduate in December 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in journalism (with an emphasis in broadcast, print and web) and a minor in sport management. In the spring, she will be continuing her education at UWW by working toward her master’s degree in higher education leadership with an emphasis in athletic administration. Schaefer will also be working as the graduate assistant in the athletic communications department while working toward her master’s degree. She hopes to work as the Director of Athletic Communications in a college athletic department upon graduation.
