One of the most popular pop-rock artist, Kelly Clarkson, made an appearance on Friday, Feb. 15 in Green Bay WI for her headlining tour “Meaning of Life”. Clarkson hasn’t toured for the past three years and came back better than ever.

Friday night brought a large crowd to the Resch Center Complex for a night full of music. Opening Acts Brynn Cartelli and Kelsea Ballerini set the bar high for the rest of the concert.

Clarkson decided to have Brynn and Kelsea open for her tour because she wanted a female dominant tour with artists that she can have fun with. Brynn was Clarkson’s winning contestant on NBC’s The Voice and she thought it would be a great opportunity for Brynn to show everyone her talent on a large stage. Kelsea on the other hand was a coach for the Comeback Stage on The Voice and Clarkson thought she was a woman with a great personality and very talented.

The Resch Center Complex brought in about 7,000 people for the concert and the energy in the building was ecstatic. Clarkson does a segment in her show called “A Minute and a Glass of Wine”, where she does a cover of a different song every night. The crowd went wild when she announced that she was going to cover Lady Gaga’s song with Bradley Cooper, “Shallow”.

It’s not everyday that you hear of a show-stopping performance during a concert. She performed “Shallow” that Friday night and it went viral the next day. Many fans captured the moment and it took over social media within hours after the performance. National publications shared the video of Clarkson’s cover and the next day the video already had more than 1.4 million views.

The performance of “Shallow” was shared on Facebook Live during her concert, which is a new way she is connecting with fans through social media. Many fans asked her to sing this song and she did exactly what the fans asked for.

A long time fan, Callie Shimek, states, “When Kelly said she was going to do a cover of Lady Gaga, I couldn’t believe she picked our concert to do it!”

Many fans were not expecting a Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated song to be the cover that night during her segment.

“Somebody had asked me to sing this song. I mean, literally, if I have not had one, I’ve had 50,” Clarkson said of “Shallow.”

Clarkson continues her successful tour and continues to surprise the attendees with her amazing covers!
