Confessions of a Summer Intern: Krista Wolfe’s Journey

Krista Wolfe, UW-Whitewater Marketing major with a French minor, interned this summer with Pentair in Glendale, WI. Krista provides another great example of networking your way into an internship. She attended a Water Industry Internship Event hosted by the Milwaukee 7 Water Council Education/Talent Committee, and after receiving internship offers from two different companies, she decided on a Marketing Internship with Pentair.

Krista’s internship won’t be ending – she has been invited to continue her internship through the fall semester. And after some of her co-workers found out about her posts for this blog, she was asked to write an article about the internship program for Pentair’s intranet news feed. Networking can get you into the internship, and it can bring continued success during and after the experience.
