How would you like to work in the White House this summer? The White House Internship Program is now accepting applications for the summer. Internships are available in a variety of Presidential departments, such as the White House Communications Department, the Office of the First Lady, and the Office of Management and Administration. The internships offer you an inside look at the workings of the White House and prepare you for future work in public service. In addition to the day-to-day work, you also attend a weekly lecture series, help at White House social events, and volunteer in the community. Overall, a well-rounded learning experience.
To apply, you must answer three essay questions, provide three letters of recommendation, and provide an unofficial transcript. All of the application information can be found on the program’s website. The application deadline for summer is March 22. The program runs from May 22-August 14.
