Congratulations to our major, Margaret Brill, on receiving the 2007 Cheryl A Koski award. The $500 prize is given to a “non traditional female student 30 years of age or older with the highest GPA among graduating seniors in the College of Letters and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.”

The award will be given (with Cheryl Koski present) at the Languages and Literature awards event on Thursday, April 19 at the Fern Young Terrace (3:30-5).

Laura “Red” Gierach who received her acceptance notice into South Dakota’s MS program in Vertebrate Paleontology. She must love the Dakotas – the summer internship from last year (’06) doing geology and paleontology at the Pioneer Trails Regional Museum in Bowman, North Dakota was also just renewed for the upcoming summer.
