Honestly, this whole movie could be a worthy candidate for a “Feels Worthy” film as this American classic has showcased Tom Hanks incredible acting talent while telling a poignant and emotional story of life, love, perseverance, and hope. It’s a roller coaster of a ride of a movie that follows through American history such as the Vietnam War, the assassination of JFK, the height of Jim Crowe, etc. Throughout all this is a love story that isn’t perfect and at times heartbreaking but when you get to this point of the movie that this scene shows, some brief moments of happiness and redemption is highlighted but the reminder that life and death go hand in hand is shown here leading to a scene that is really hard to not be a little emotional. Tom Hanks does an incredible job acting here and the line “He’s so smart” will hit you really hard in the feels trust me. For those that haven’t watched the movie…well you already know what I’m going to say… LOL
