[UPDATE 1: RESOLVED, 12:06pm] The D2L service is now functioning normally. One application server running D2L was not functioning properly and has been removed. Users should no longer be receiving errors. If problems persist, contact UW-W D2L Support or call the UW-Madison DoIT Helpdesk, +1 (608) 264-4357 [weekends only].
[ORIGINAL POST] UW-W D2L Support has received a few reports of problems from people not being able to login with error messages indicating that the server is too busy, or there is too much network traffic. We have contacted service technicians who are working to resolve the problem.
If you experience the problem, you should attempt to access D2L from a different computer, as this problem does not appear to be affecting all servers running D2L. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
