The inaugural exhibit of the fall season will feature three-dimensional works from the collection of Ruth and Bob Vogele. The exhibit will be supplemented by past and promised gifts to the UW-Whitewater Permanent Collection and will also include examples of prints and drawings by sculptors. In addition to collecting contemporary sculpture, Ruth and Bob Vogele have also collected in the areas of American Indian Art, Self-Taught Folk Art, Southwest Pueblo Pottery, Contemporary Japanese Baskets and Ethnographic Cultural objects. This exhibit looks at sculptural objects and how they relate in a formal and contextual manner.
