BFA Entry and Junior Review

December 2 - 5
Faculty members utilize the review to select new students for entry into the BFA Program and to assess the progress and determine the graduation status of Junior BFA track students.

The signup deadline is Thursday November 20th and a list of those eligible will be posted on Friday, November 21st on the front door of the Art Office. (see Julie for the signup info)

Eligible BFA Entry and Junior Review candidates may bring their artwork to the Crossman Gallery at 11 am on Monday, December 1st to begin the installation.  The gallery will be divided up and the walls marked with the student’s name.  Students can expect to get 12-15’ of wall space plus one or two pedestals.  Installation must be completed by 5 pm on Monday.  Students may invite guests to come visit the gallery between 6-8 pm Tuesday evening for the Friends and Family event.

The gallery will open on Tuesday, December 2, Wednesday the 3rd and Thursday the 4th during daytime hours.  The reviews will take place in the evening hours of Wednesday and Thursday, so no time is available for guests.  The show must be taken down on Friday, no later than 3 pm.  Students must remove all nails, pins, labels and other exhibit equipment.  They must patch nail holes and touch up the repairs.  Failure to clean up your space at the designated time will result in a student not successfully completing the review. The Senior Show students will be in the gallery on Sunday, so everything must be ready for them to come in.
