Spring 2008 Art Department Resources
Students participating in the Senior show Adjudication on Friday, April 18.
Adjudication will take place in the Crossman Gallery; the exception will be for the six students who indicated a need for computers. Those works will be installed in CA 2051. Students need to reference their work in 2051 downstairs in the gallery so faculty members know to check in the studio. The works in the studio need to be identified at the work station and all computer assisted works must be self launching.
Participants need to contact Professor Stephanie Miller in her office, CA 2043, Friday morning to pick up and complete required paperwork. Installation is to take place in the Crossman Gallery from 8 am - 10 am in the gallery and in CA 2051. Positions in the gallery will be identified for participant’s use; limited installation of wall hung work is possible and students need to bring their own tools. Some pedestals are available for three dimensional work, however, 26 students are participating, so pedestals are limited. Any nails or pins must be removed and the walls patched following the takedown of the art work. Failure to repair the walls or to pick up art work may result in a failure of the Adjudication.
The gallery will be closed to visitors during the review; pick up artwork will be from 3-5 pm. No work may remain in the gallery after 5 pm. Results of the review will be announced Friday afternoon. If you have questions you can check with Michael Flanagan in the Gallery office.
