The show featured pre-Columbian ceramic artifacts on loan from the Logan Museum of Anthropology, Beloit College. The objects in the show are from the Moche, Nazca and Recuay cultures with additional works from the Chimu and Paracas cultures. The material in the show demonstrates the affinity of the makers with natural and mythological themes and also explores the technical aspects of the works. Curated with the co-operation of UW-Whitewater Professors Charlie Olson and Chris Henige. The opening reception will include a silde presentation by Dan Shea of the Logan Museum at 5 pm in room 30, Center of the Arts.
