Response to Jones

Jones addresses the idea of video games violence leading to real violence. Personally I don’t play a lot of video games, but I can see why people are scared that video game violence may lead to real violence. I agree with Jones that sometimes video game violence is great way for some kids to vend their frustrations. Also i thinks that parents have to communicate with their kids to let them know that video games are a form of entertainment and shouldn’t ever beĀ  acted out. Anything can be dangerous in the hands of a unsupervised child. Parents need to educate their kids and talk to them to understand why they are playing violent video games. Once children understand that why they are playing these games they will be less likely to use real violence.
