We are now fully into the regular semester routine – working, studying, writing, presenting and even starting to plan for spring semester classes.
The COBE Leaders’ Ways and Wisdom: Distinguished Speaker Series brings Stephen Burrows, former CEO of Anheuser Busch International. He will present “Lessons Learned in Global Business Management” at 4:30pm, October 7 in Timmerman Auditorium.
From the graduate programs area…
The new Doctorate in Business Administration
is in the final stages of approval. A team from the Higher Learning Commission visited campus on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, to review the program. We anticipate final approval over the next couple of months.
A new Masters degree in Applied Economics is headed to the UW System Board of Regents in mid-October. If approved this program will start along with the DBA in Fall 2014.
In the meantime, our “new and improved” MBA curriculum
officially began this semester with the addition of project management emphasis and a “build-your-own” customized emphasis.
