From the Chancellor at UW-Whitewater

On March 12^th, we had the opportunity to visit the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University to see the work of Professor Xiaohong Zhang as part of an exhibit “Current Tendencies:  Ten Artists from Wisconsin.  We enjoyed the exhibit, especially seeing the attention that Xiaohong Zhang’s work received.

On March 12^th, we also had the chance to attend the UW-Whitewater Forensics Team’s Annual Showcase.  We saw wonderful presentations by Sarah Kanitz, Amanda Finch, Kati Anderson, Brandi Kelley and Steph Schubring.  As a special treat, alums Michael and Shauna Wessely presented a reading from an original work.

From March 12^th through 14^th, the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament is being held in Gym 1 of the Williams Center.  The Rolling Warhawks won their first round game and are into the semifinals.
