On Tuesday, Madison’s poet laureate presented several works including her monologue about the lynching of Mary Turner at the Works in Progress Café in the Fern Young Terrace. We also hear two works by Erica Meier, UWW senior.
Yesterday, there was an opening event at the Fiskum Gallery in the UC, featuring art by Phenomenal Women. We were also treated to music, poetry, and readings.
Peter Pan will be presented this weekend. Since we will be out-of-town at an alumni event, we will be unable to attend the performance. Fortunately, we will have the opportunity to see the production at a dress rehearsal this evening.
