Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting an energetic group of Student Orientation Leaders. These students greet our incoming freshmen on Preview days during the summer. The students come from all over Wisconsin, from Medford and Kiel, from Darlington and Shullsburg, from Milwaukee and Franklin, and from Wausau and Middleton. One Orientation Leader is from Evanston, Illinois. The Orientation Leaders represent freshmen through seniors, and academic disciplines across all four colleges.
I look forward to working with our Student Orientation Leaders as they greet our incoming students. Their enthusiasm is contagious. I am excited about the upcoming Previews, starting on June 18th.
