Who are the major league teams?

This blog probably should have been one that went up sooner than when I am currently posting it, but better late than never right? I never gave the full list of teams that made up the major leagues– in both the National and Central divisions. So if you were ever wondering what stellar teams made up and are playing in the majors, here is your list. Oh and i’ll even organize the teams by their respected divisions for you too.

Starting with the National League– or best league because I am biased towards my favorite team:

NL EAST:

  • Atlanta Braves
  • Washington Nationals
  • New York Mets
  • Philedelphia Phillies
  • Miami Marlins

NL CENTRAL:

  • St Louis Cardinals
  • Milwaukee Brewers
  • Chicago Cubs
  • Cincinatti Reds
  • Pittsburgh Pirates

NL West:

  • LA Dodgers (maybe they won’t choke the next time they make it in the post-season)
  • Arizona Diamondbacks
  • San Francisco Giants
  • Colorado Rockies
  • San Diego Padres

And finally the American league division, where the American league always seem to dominate in the MLB All-Star game.

AL EAST:

  • New York Yankees
  • Tampa Bay Rays
  • Boston Red Sox
  • Toronto Blue Jays
  • Baltimore Orioles

AL CENTRAL:

  • Minnesota Twins
  • Cleveland Indians
  • Chicago White Sox
  • Kansas City Royals
  • Detroit Tigers

AL WEST:

  • Houston Astros
  • Oakland Athletics
  • Texas Rangers
  • LA Angels
  • Seattle Mariners

Lengthy post I know, but I felt as if when I blog about certain teams, or mention their names specifically, this post felt like one that was needed to help those who are not familiar with baseball to help distinguish what teams are where/who they are.
